Data Engineer

Propósito del rol: The purpose of the data engineer is to automate the intake, transformation, and availability of information so that users of credit risk teams can integrate data into their processes in a scalable way, while supporting process automation and code optimization resulting in cost savings for the organization.

Funciones Clave:

• Make queries on the databases and use the tools available in the cloud architecture to replicate the provided designs and meet all the functional requirements of the projects.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to maintain the highest level of communication around data engineering and the strategic vision of the project.
• Creation of automated reports and visualizations that contribute to the decision-making of credit risk teams.
• Ensure the data is updated periodically, guaranteeing their availability.
• Apply data quality control and assurance techniques.
• Support the Data Ops Team in code optimization and best practices
• Propose improvements in data management and project design

Requerimientos:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar Postgraduated studies in Data Science, Data Engineer, or Machine Learning
• More than 3 years experience in data analysis, data optimización, ETL, and use of statistical software (SQL, python)
• Experience in cloud solutions
• Knowledge of business intelligence and data science
• Knowledge of data quality assurance
• Intermediate English
• Experience in data visualization tools like Power BI and looker
• Knowledge in tooling like app script, n8n, Zapier (plus)
• Knowledge in AWS, Azure, or GCP
