Resultados

Desde la implementación de los pagos digitales, el SRI ha visto un incremento significativo en su recaudación a partir de los primeros meses, lo que refleja la aceptación y el uso del sistema por parte de los contribuyentes. Este crecimiento se ha mantenido constante, con picos en los meses de marzo y abril, en el marco del calendario tributario correspondiente al ejercicio fiscal anterior, y un repunte esperado en diciembre debido a la revisión de tributos. La digitalización ha permitido que el SRI reduzca considerablemente sus costos operativos, como el alquiler de oficinas y el mantenimiento de dispositivos POS, lo que genera valor tanto para la institución como para los ciudadanos.

Uno de los principales retos fue asegurar que el proceso de pago fuera ágil, sin duplicidades y sin generar carga operativa adicional para el SRI. La solución debía integrarse de forma eficiente a sus procesos internos y garantizar una experiencia fluida para el contribuyente.

Asimismo, se identificaron oportunidades de mejora en la experiencia de pago, particularmente en el uso de tarjetas de crédito y en la autenticación 3DS, donde algunos usuarios enfrentaban dificultades que podían derivar en transacciones rechazadas.
